Affiliate disclosure
How this site is funded, and what that does and does not mean for our recommendations.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Planted Tank Central is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What this means for you
- Links labeled “Check Price on Amazon” are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Affiliate links go directly to Amazon. We don’t use redirects or disguised links, and nothing opens automatically.
- Pages with affiliate links show a disclosure before the first recommendation.
- Amazon sets prices. We don’t publish them because they change frequently.
Independence
Commission rates never decide what we recommend, and no manufacturer pays for placement. When a cheaper option, or nothing at all, is the right answer for your tank, that is what we say. Our methods are described in our editorial standards.
